20/20 Vision: Church for Episcopalians in their 20’s & 30’s

The Diocese of California is sponsoring a workshop in its Equipping the Beloved Community series on new ‘edgy’ styles of worship to make the church more attractive to a wider audience.

This workshop gives you the opportunity to experience a new design for church focused on worship, innovation and integrity designed to attract Episcopalians in their 20’s and 30’s—but everyone is welcome to experience the excitement of  this “Pierced and tattooed, theologically deep mom, a fire-and-Pentecost progressive preacher, a stand-up comic,… a liturgical acrobat, an honest and outspoken sinner-saint.”

Fresh expressions of church with the Rev. Nadia Bolz-Weber, the founding pastor of House for All Sinners and Saints, an ELCA mission church in Denver, Colorado.

Who says church has to be boring!

You’ll remember that is is one of the Vestry goals in the 20/20 Vision Process so you might want to mark your calendars for this one:

Saturday March 12th 9am to 3pm at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church

100 Gold Mine Dr, San Francisco 94131; 415-285-9540
